Join the Pack 1191 Cub Scout Family in a Fishing Derby.
- Ribbons will be awarded!!!!
- Cub Scouts can earn their Fishing Belt Loop.
- No Fishing License needed!
- Families and Honorary Cub Scouts (siblings and friends) are welcome!
- Campfire and Hotdog Cookout after the derby (6:30 to 9:00 p.m.)

- Go West on PROSPECT RD (towards Frederick).
- Turn North (RIGHT) onto OLD ANNAPOLIS RD.
- Turn East (RIGHT) onto WOODVILLE RD.
- Turn South (RIGHT) onto SHIRLEY BOHN RD.
- Turn East (Left) on Carrie Lynn Court.
- Turn right into first driveway, 14414 Shirley Bohn Road

Derby Rules:
- Bring fishing rods and reels for each scout and honorary scout. Pack 1191 will provide bait, barbless hooks, and bobbers.
- To assist the children with baiting hooks, removing and releasing their catches, and helping them maintain a safe distance from other anglers - each cub scout or honorary cub scout must be under the supervision of a parent or guardian, or they must be responsible to a specific adult. Please notify your Den Leader, or the Webelos I Leader, Ellen Conboy (conedrp@comcast.net), if you are leaving a child under the supervision of another adult or family.
- Permission slips must be completed on day of event by parent or guardian.
- Be Respectful of the Property & others. Please do not damage any foliage or anything else on the grounds and be mindful of other anglers around you.
- EVERYTHING is catch & release.
- In order for your fish to be eligible for a derby ribbon, ALL FISH MUST BE CAUGHT BY THE Cub Scout or Honorary Cub Scout. Adult assistance only (if needed) to bait the hook, cast the line, and land the catch.
- LEAVE NO TRACE!! Be sure to pick up all trash or any other trash found on the grounds.
- EVERY fish caught must be checked in with a Derby Judge to be included in the derby. Parents/adults should assist the cub scout or honorary cub scout in alerting the derby judge or bringing the fish to the judge's table, in removing the catch from the hook, and in releasing the catch back into the lake.
- BE PREPARED: All cub scouts and honorary cub scouts should be dressed appropriately for the weather, and should wear/bring SUNSCREEN, INSECT REPELLANT, and HATS. Lawn chairs are recommended.

- LONGEST FISH CAUGHT BY A PACK 1191 CUB SCOUT
- LONGEST FISH CAUGHT BY A WEBELOS 2 CUB SCOUT
- LONGEST FISH CAUGHT BY A WEBELOS 1 CUB SCOUT
- LONGEST FISH CAUGHT BY A BEAR CUB SCOUT
- LONGEST FISH CAUGHT BY A WOLF CUB SCOUT

Cookout/Campfire:
- Bring a side-dish, chips, fruit, salad, melon, etc.. Bring enough for your family.
- Hotdogs and Bug Juice will be provided.
- Paper goods will be provided.
